Huskies Fall to Georgetown, 6-0

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (April 2, 2005) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team fell to Georgetown in singles play, 6-0, on Saturday at the East Hartford Racquet Club as the Huskies opened play against BIG EAST opponents. The Huskies are now 3-4 this spring.
Senior co-captain Sam Sutherland (Tampa, Fla.) was the lone UConn player to go to three sets in a battle against Etienne Paris at No.3. Sutherland won the first set 7-5, but lost in the final two, 6-2, 10-5.
The Huskies will next compete against Villanova on Sunday at the East Hartford Racquet Club.
