Megan Crawley Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Nov. 1) - Senior Megan Crawley (Georgetown, Texas) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Oct. 31 following an outstanding performance in UConn's 3-0 sweeps of both Georgetown and South Florida last week.
Against Georgetown, Crawley had 10 kills to help lead the Huskies, including the game-winning kill in the second game. She also picked up seven digs and had three service aces in the UConn victory.
Crawley continued her excellent play against South Florida, picking up nine kills with no attack errors for a .900 hitting percentage in the first game alone. She also had the game-winning kill in the third game to give the Huskies the win. For the match, the senior had a team-high 19 kills and a hitting percentage of .567 and picked up 11 digs.
The Huskies are next in action on Saturday, Nov. 5 when they travel to Rutgers. Match time is scheduled for noon.
