Men's Tennis Competes at Cornell Invitational

ITHACA, N.Y. (Sept. 19) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team competed in the Cornell Invitational Sept. 17-19. Other schools that participated were Binghamton, Marist, Middlebury, Stony Brook and UMBC.
Only one Husky advanced past the opening Round of 16. Freshman Mason Viau topped Michael Crooks of Stony Brook, 6-4, 7-5 to move to the quarterfinal round. There he fell to Ray Wu of host Cornell by scores of 6-2, 6-1.
