Pat Blake Named Cross Country Captain

STORRS, CT (Sept. 15)  Connecticut senior Pat Blake (Lebanon, Conn.) was named the Huskies men's cross country captain for the 2004 season by Head Coach Greg Roy on Wednesday.

Blake was a top ten finisher in twice for UConn in 2003. He placed fourth at the CCSU Ted Owens Invitational with a time of 27:01 and seventh at the Quinnipiac Invitational with a time of 26:39.

The Huskies return to action on Saturday, September 24th when they compete in the Quinnipiac Invitational.
