UConn Topped 5-2 at Stony Brook in Final Match

STONY BROOK, NY (April 22) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team was defeated 5-2 at Stony Brook in their final match of the season. The win was the 11th straight for Stony Brook, and improved their season record to 17-1. The Huskies conclude the year with a record of 5-10.
UConn won two of six singles matches, and one of three doubles matches on the afternoon. George Rzepecki (Farmington, Conn.) and Sam Sutherland (Tampa, Fla.) were individual winners, taking wins at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, respectively. Both had to fight to record a victory, taking their matches to three sets.
The pair of Andy Sweatt (Reno, Nev.) and Mike Louis (New York, N.Y.) took an 8-6 win at the No. 1 doubles spot.
