UConn Edged 4-3 by Coe College

ORLANDO, FL (March 7) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team won half of the singles matches, but only one of three doubles matches and were ultimately edged by a score of 4-3 by Coe College. Coe is ranked 14th in the Division III standings. The loss drops UConn to 2-3 in dual matches for the season.
The Huskies won their matches in the No. 4, 5 and 6 positions, taking all three in straight sets. Their losses were not as convincing, with all three taking an extra set to be decided.
In doubles play, Brian Ravesloot and George Rzepecki teamed up for an 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot. Rzepecki was the lone double winner for UConn in the match, as he also won 7-6, 7-5 at the No. 5 singles spot.
UConn will return to action tomorrow, Monday, March 8 when they take on Penn State at 1:00 p.m.
