UConn Dominates New Hampshire, 7-0

STORRS, CT (March 30) - With nine wins all in straight sets, the University of Connecticut men’s tennis team swept New Hampshire 7-0. Three players gave up just one or zero games in singles play, and UConn improves to 4-5 on the season.
George Rzepecki (Farmington, Conn.) won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles, and also teamed with August Vorvis (Southport, Conn.) for a solid 8-2 win at the No. 3 doubles spot. Senior Andy Sweatt (Reno, Nev.) won by a convincing score of 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and partnered with Matt Stinson (Orinda, Calif.) for an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles.
Sam Sutherland (Tampa, Fla.) also gave up just one game at the No. 6 singles spot, defeating Tim Clement 6-1, 6-0.
The Huskies will return to action on Saturday, April 3 when they travel to Georgetown for a dual match.
