Huskies Swept 7-0 at Dartmouth

HANOVER, NH (Feb. 14) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team was swept 7-0 at Dartmouth, dropping their overall record to 1-2 on the season.
The Huskies struggled against a strong Dartmouth team, losing all three doubles matches, and all six singles matches in straight sets. The No. 2 UConn doubles team of Brian Ravesloot (Tucson, Ariz.) and Joel Gamoran (Mercer Island, Wash.) nearly pulled out a win over the pair from Dartmouth, but ultimately lost by a score of 9-7.
Matt Stinson (Orinda, Calif.) performed well at the No. 1 singles spot against Dartmouth’s Neal Bobba, losing the first set 6-2 but nearly rebounding in the second set before losing 7-6 in the tiebreaker.
The team will return to action on March 7 when they face Coe College at a neutral site in Orlando, Fla.
