Men's Tennis Tops Salve Regina, 5-2

 STORRS, Conn. (Oct. 12) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team notched its second dual victory of the year, defeating Salve Regina 5-2 at the UConn Tennis Courts on Tuesday afternoon.
 
 UConn won the doubles point with Christian Malerba and Sam Sutherland teaming up to defeat Salve Regina's Jon Crim and Quat Vu, 8-1. The pair of Matt Stinson and Sho Sato also won 8-1 over Jason Lago and Nick Drinkwine.
 
 The Huskies defeated Salve Regina in four singles matches, winning in the No. 2, 3, 5 and 6 slots. Brian Ravesloot defeated Pat McNally, 6-4, 6-3, with freshman Mason Viau easily winning 6-1, 6-2 over Jason Lago. Senior Sam Sutherland defeated Jon Crim, 6-3, 6-4. Mike Bobitski lost the first set 6-7 to Quat Vu, but rallied in the next two 6-2, 10-2 for the victory.
