Huskies Pull Out 5-2 Win over Rhode Island

STORRS, CT (Sept. 24) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team took victories in four singles matches and all three doubles matches to come out with a 5-2 victory over visiting Rhode Island. The win moves the Huskies to 1-1 on the season in dual match play.
Brian Ravesloot (Tuscon, AZ) took a solid 6-2, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 singles position over Dan Bruzga, and freshman August Vorvis (Southport, CT) also had a convincing 6-1, 6-2 win over Geoff Peterson at No. 5 doubles.
The men’s team returns to action on Sept. 27-28 when they face opponents at the Brown Invitational.
