Huskies Place Fourth of 10 Teams at Boston College

CHESNUT HILL, MA (Sept. 12) - The University of Connecticut women’s cross country team took fourth place of 10 teams at the Boston College Select Meet held at Franklin Park. Kristen Meyer (Hillsborough, NJ) led the way for UConn, placing seventh in a time of 18:06.
The Huskies finished with a team total of 77 points, while sixth nationally-ranked Providence won with 31 points. Host Boston College, nationally-ranked 22nd, followed with 63, and Brown came in third with 71.
Also finishing in the top 10 for UConn was Allison McCabe (Reading, MA) with a time of 18:20. Other point scorers for the Huskies were Kyle MacQueen (Woodstock, CT), Julie LaFrano (Loudonville, NY) and Niamh Cunningham (Branford, CT).
