Coach Adams Announces Resignation

STORRS, Conn. (April 29) – University of Connecticut women’s track and field head coach Jackie Adams has announced her resignation effective the end of the academic year.
Adams is completing her fifth season in charge of the Husky program and has led UConn to three New England indoor championships (2000, ’01 and ’02) and two New England outdoor championships (2001 and ’02) during her tenure. A total of five different student-athletes earned All-American honors on nine different occasions under Adams’ coaching at UConn.
