Huskies Complete Day One of BIG EAST Championships

SYRACUSE, NY (February 22) - The University of Connecticut women’s track and field team completed day one at the BIG EAST Championship meet in Syracuse, NY in tenth place with 10 points with six events being scored.
Amy Parkosewich (Bethlehem, CT) had the best performance for the Huskies on the day, placing second in the weight throw with a distance of 17.26 meters (56-7.50)
The Huskies will return to action on Feb. 23, for day two at the Indoor BIG EAST Championships.
