Two Huskies Compete at ITA Northeast Regional

ITHACA, NY (Oct. 22) - Two members of the University of Connecticut men's tennis team competed at the 2003 ITA Men's Tennis Northeast Regional held this past weekend at Cornell University.  Matt Stinson (Orinda, CA) and Andy Sweatt (Reno, NV) both represented the Huskies at the event.

Stinson matched up against Brent Wilkins of Virginia Tech in the first round, and was defeated by a score of 7-5, 6-3.  The pair of Stinson and Sweatt took on opponents from Penn State in doubles, and lost by a score of 8-2 in the first round.
