UConn Finishes Third at Northeastern's Husky Invitational

BOSTON, MA (January 31) - The University of Connecticut women’s track and field team placed third of 15 teams at Northeastern’s Husky Invitational at the Reggie Lewis Center on Friday.
The Huskies tallied two first place finishes in the meet. Kristen Meyer (Hillsborough, NJ) led in the 3000 meter run with a time of 9:56.45 and UConn’s All-American Deirdre Mullen (Princeton, NJ) had yet another top finish in the high jump at a height of 1.73 meters (5-8.00).
