Huskies Drop BIG EAST Match to Rutgers, 6-1

PISCATAWAY, NJ (April 7, 2002) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team, after picking up its first BIG EAST win Saturday, fell to Rutgers on Sunday afternoon, 6-1.
With the loss, the Huskies fall to 11-7 overall and 1-2 in the BIG EAST.
Sophomore Andy Sweatt (Reno, NV) picked up the Huskies only point of the day when he defeated Rutgers’ Pavan Gramminger in the No. 6 singles position.
