Huskies Drop Stony Brook and Central Connecticut

NEW BRITIAN, CT (March 9, 2002) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team defeated Stony Brook, 6-1, in the first match of the day before going on to a 6-0 victory over host Central Connecticut State on Saturday.
The victory over Stony Brook may have been the Huskies biggest of the season so far, as the Seawolves were ranked 14th nationally in the East Region after fall play this year. With the pair of wins, UConn's record stands at 8-3.
