Lang Tallies Only Point in Husky Loss

SAN DIEGO, CA (March 21, 2002) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team fell to the 2001 California State Champions, the College of the Desert, Wednesday while on its spring break trip. The Roadrunners are a junior college team out of Palm Desert, CA, and handed the Huskies a 6-1 defeat.
Junior Joe Lang (Winchester, MA) tallied UConn’s only point of the afternoon with a close win over Jamie Maxwell.
