STORRS, CT (Dec. 9) -- UConn women’s track & field coach Jackie Adams announced the signing of six high school standouts to National Letters of Intent today. "We are very proud to introduce our early signees to the University of Connecticut," said Adams. "They are an elite group of student-athletes who represent some of the finest throwers in the high school ranks along with a very talented pole vaulter, hurdler and multi-event athlete. Attracting such higher echelon student-athletes from areas outside our normal recruiting area has been very exciting - the athletic caliber of each signee is complemented by their outstanding achievements in the classroom - a truly outstanding group."
