The University of Connecticut men’s swimming and diving team defeated Boston University 159-126 on Saturday, at Wolff-Zackin Natatorium. Connecticut moves to 4-3 on the season, while Boston falls to 1-2 on the season.
The Huskies finished first in every swimming event. UConn did only qualify Marshal Livingstone to the BIG EAST A meet in the 100 yard free with a time of 46.92. Livingstone swam in a BIG EAST B qualifying time of 1:44.08 in the 200 free as well. Tim Jones qualified for the B section in the 200 fly with a time of 1:56.68. The Huskies qualified two swimmers for the BIG EAST B in the 200 back. Bobby Folan swam in a time of 1:55.94, while Mike McNulty finished in a time of 1:56.88.
On the diving side, Kevin McKinney finished second in the three meter and third in the one meter, while Chase Dunlap finished second in the one meter and third in the three meter.
The Huskies return to action on Friday, November 22, at the Pittsburgh Invitational.
