Crawley Selected Co-BIG EAST Rookie of the Week

PROVIDENCE, RI (Nov. 11) - Freshman Megan Crawley (Georgetown, TX) of the Connecticut women’s volleyball team was named Co-BIG EAST Rookie of the Week named by league officials on Monday, afternoon. Crawley shares the honor with Allison Scholl of Seton Hall.
Crawley led UConn to a 2-0 weekend in the BIG EAST to move the Huskies into a tie for second place. She recorded 13 kills over the weekend, including a career high 10 kills on a .286 hitting percentage against Rutgers on Sunday. In the two matches Crawley attacked at a .258 percentage, which was the second best on the team.
Connecticut returns action Fri., Nov, 15, when the travel to Boston College.
