Uconn Football Blue-White Scrimmage Kicks Off Saturday At Noon

STORRS, CONNECTICUT-- The University of Connecticut Football program will wrap up Spring Practice 2001 with the Annual Blue-White Scrimmage, to be held at Noon on Saturday, April 28 in Memorial Stadium.
The scrimmage is open to the public and admission is free. Those in attendance will receive a full color UConn Football schedule poster for the 2001 season.
The scrimmage will be played under normal game conditions with the teams consisting of the Offense vs. the Defense. Both teams will receive points for various accomplishments throughout, in addition to normal scoring for touchdowns, field goals and extra points.
The scrimmage concludes a spring practice that began on Monday, April 2 and consisted of 14 practices prior to the Blue-White Scrimmage.
