Huskies Fall to Rutgers and Notre Dame

STORRS, CT (November 10, 2001) – The University of Connecticut men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams fell to Rutgers and Notre Dame Saturday afternoon in the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium. The women, in a closely-fought battle that came down to the last race, were just edged by Rutgers, 153 to 147, and the men fell to Notre Dame 184 to 115 and to Rutgers 189 to 110.
The losses dropped the women’s team to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the BIG EAST and the men’s team to 3-4 overall and 2-4 in the BIG EAST.
