Wooley Tabbed ECAC Division I Volleyball Player of the Week

CENTERVILLE, MA (November 1, 2001) -- Junior (Ridgecrest, CA) was selected as the Oct. 31 ECAC Volleyball Player of the Week, as announced by the Eastern College Athletic Conference yesterday. The honor was the first of Wooley's career.
Wooley captured her second BIG EAST Player of the Week honors Monday after leading the Huskies to a 3-0 record, including two conference "sweeps," last week. The 6'0 outside hitter averaged a team-leading 5.7 kills and 3.2 digs per game and chipped in 0.9 blocks per game. Wooley also posted double-doubles in all three victories, increasing her team-leading tally to 10 for the season.
Wooley and the Huskies return to action Friday night in Washington, DC against BIG EAST foe Georgetown. The Hoyas and the Huskies are battling for third place in the BIG EAST Conference.
