Tickets Still Available For UConn/Rhode Island Football Game

STORRS, Connecticut -- There are still tickets available for the
University of Connecticut football game vs. Rhode Island scheduled for
12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 11 at Memorial Stadium.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the UConn Athletic Ticket Office at 1-877-AT-UCONN. Tickets will also be available at the gate on Saturday.
UConn enters its final home game in the 2000 season with a chance to break a pair of school home attendance records. The Huskies need a crowd of only 5,849 vs. URI to set a single season average attendance record. The record is 13,345 set in 1970. UConn is averaging 15,220 in four games in 2000.
With a crowd of 11,094 vs. URI, UConn would also set a single season total attendance record. The current record is 71,974 in 1994, set over six games. UConn has played in front of 60,881 fans at home through four games in 2000.
