STORRS, CONN. - The football game between the Huskies and South Florida on Oct. 28 is a complete sellout.
The UConn-South Florida game, to be played on Oct. 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium in Storrs, will be the third straight advance sellout during the 2000 Connecticut Football season.
The home opener vs. Colgate on September 9 was an advance sellout, the first in the school's football history and the September 23 game vs. Northeastern was also an advance sellout.
Selling out all three home games to this point in our first season at the Division I-A level continues to show the phenomenal level of support we are receiving from the football fans of the state of Connecticut, said UConn Director of Athletics Lew Perkins. We continue to encourage everyone to call our ticket office (1-877-AT-UCONN) and order tickets for our two remaining home games this fall.
UConn plays at home on on November 4 vs. Middle Tennessee State and on November 11 vs. Rhode Island.
Official attendance figures for the UConn Homecoming game vs. South Florida will not be available until the second half of the Oct. 28 contest.
The all-time single-game record for attendance is 16,632, established in the 2000 season opener vs. Colgate.
