Rentschler Field Groundbreaking

Philip E. Austin, President of the University of Connecticut, and Lew Perkins, UConn Director of Athletics, take part in the groundbreaking ceremonies on Oct. 20 at Rentschler Field, the future home of UConn football.
The $90 million stadium is scheduled to open in the fall of 2003 and will serve as the home of UConn's Division I-A football program.
